Job Log is designed for the small business that wants to track
calls coming into their help desk and/or the customer service department for
follow up after assigning support personnel to resolve the issue. Tickets
are issued as the call is taken by the support desk. Once the issue is
resolved the resolution is saved to the knowledge base where future issues of
the same nature can possibly be resolved while the caller is still on the phone.
Reports showing open tickets by department and technician allows management to
keep up with open tickets that may need to be escalated in order to get the
issue resolved in a timely manner.
